"Aaron Heal is an athletic key defender who was a part of the Subiaco 2015 Premiership side. Heal has developed into one of the best shut-down defenders in the league and represented WA in 2016"
2017: Heal continued to prove his standing as one of the best defenders in the WAFL, showing an ability to be able to beat all types of opposition forward. Heal showed his toughness during the year, missing just two games despite suffering a facial injury. Heal was a member of the 2017 WAFL Grand Final side for Subiaco.
2016: Heal had a break-out year in 2016 and was rewarded with a debut for WA. Heal finished second behind Chris Phelan in the Outridge Medal count after collecting 270 disposals from 22 games as the Lions shut-down backman.
