The EGT Goal of the Year kicks off for another big season!
Throughout the season, we'll showcase some standout goals from around the WAFL, from a stunning banana kick to a powerful snap across the body or even a barrel from outside 50.
Each round, a panel of judges will select one player from three nominees for the best goal of the week, with the top pick going into contention to receive $5,000 in prize money and be crowned the 2026 EGT Goal of the Year at the end of the WAFL season.

The winner of the 2026 EGT Goal of the Year will be contacted prior and announced at the WAFL Grand Final at Optus Stadium on Sunday September 20th.
The Competition is open only to players listed on a WAFL team list and competing in the 2026 Sullivan Logistics WAFL Premiership Season. The EGT Goal of the Year award is judged by a panel selected by WA Football, and all decisions are final with no correspondence entered into. The recipient judged the winning goal at the end of the 2026 season will receive $5,000 cash inc. GST, transferred into their nominated bank account. WA Football reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
