Celebrate WA Day with local football action! Great Footy, Great Food and Great Entertainment
An exciting new page is set to be written at the Fremantle Community Bank Oval, where South Fremantle will host East Fremantle in the 390th derby, a match that forms part of the celebrated Activ WA Day Round.
The Sharks will be looking to record their 200th win over the Bulldogs, with South Fremantle currently beating their archrivals on 186 occasions. The Bulldogs enjoyed a remarkable winning sequence of 15 wins in a row against East Fremantle, including a 14-point win in stormy conditions in 2023.
In the 356th Perth Derby, between West Perth and East Perth, the Royals will aim to tie West Perth at 175 wins apiece.
There have been six draws between the clubs, with the Falcons' best-winning run against their arch-enemies being 10 successive victories between 1962 and 1965. The Royals also boast 10 consecutive wins over West Perth, dating back to 1918 and 1921.
Last year, the sides split the results, with East Perth winning the WA Day showdown by 36 points.
